No, no, NO, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I don’t know how this happened. I have been watching them so close. I broke up all the nests I found. I absolutely did not notice any guineas missing for long periods. HOW? WHY? HOW?

Yes, that is a new hatch of baby guinea fowl and yes, it numbers well past a dozen. And don’t worry, despite the fact I can not locate where they sleep at night, they will somehow keep every.last.one alive.

Why does this keep happening to me?

Everyone else I know can’t keep their devil clown birds alive, much less relentlessly multiplying. How did I end up with super Guineas??? Why? Whhhhhhyyyyyy????

And I know I won’t be able to get rid of them because I cannot catch them (without a shotgun). They are wily survivalists that although so very stupid, still somehow outwit this very tired farmer. A tired farmer who has resigned herself to forever abiding with a giant flock of screaming helmets. God help us all.
